Manitoba's Police Public And Press End American Killing Spree

This video follows Earle Nelson, a serial killer from San Francisco. He had run rampant throughout America until he made the mistake of entering Manitoba.

Disclaimer: This video shows 1920's police capturing a serial killer. However good the police have been they could always be worse. I in no way intend for this to be propaganda and stand by the Black Live Matter movement 100%. This video took a lot out of me and I didn't want to see my efforts go to waste.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

What was really interesting is how easy it was for Nelson to murder throughout America for two years. When he was caught in Canada a few days after entering.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

American police may not have been able to catch a serial killer, but Manitoba's people did. From Manitoba press to civilians, everyone helped catch Nelson.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

I compare my life to the victims, and I relate to Lola and Emily a lot. When i started this project I was the same age as Lola, 14. Emily and I are both of Irish. Most importantly, these murders happened in my city, in my area. I want Their memories to live on.
