What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?
The most interesting aspect of Pierre Trudeau is how he handled the constitutional challenges to ensure Canada remains a strong confederation.
What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?
I learned that Pierre Trudeau had an immense impact on Canada’s history that is felt by Canadians from coast to coast until today.
How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?
Similar to the past, there is considerable scrutiny of both political and personal lives of public figures. Today, I also enjoy liberties that came into effect as a result of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms made possible by Trudeau.
