Art in Canada

Art that not only represents myself and my love for this topic, but creations that show my appreciation for Canada and this land where we can call home.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

Not only did I have the chance to learn about local artists and their technics, I had the chance to expand my knowledge and skill for art. After learning this, I have a new appreciation for developed artists in past and present day.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

The eye grasping concept that I was drawn to in this experience was learning about a photographer named Edward Burtynsky. He takes a new approach on landscape photos and also shows a new side of Canada I never knew existed.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

The people I studied for this project are well known artists in their respective fields. I am a student with aspirations of reaching personal goals in many aspects of my life. Art and photography play a major role in achieving my goals.
