My Family Farm

My project is about my familys farm. We owned the land for over 200 hundred years! This was a huge part our history past down from generation to generation.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

The most interesting thing I learned was the art my great-great-grandfather called grafting which is the art of cutting off a cherry tree branch and sticking on to maybe an apple tree. This would produce a tree that has cherries and apples.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

An important lesson I learned was to never give up as my ancestors showed great strength and always put their best effort into anything to keep the farm running.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

How I would compare my life to those studied in my project today, Is that we take much for granted and don't work hard too achieve success we also we don't face as many challenges as they would have long ago.
