Past Issues of Kayak
Kayak: Canada's History Magazine for Kids is a rich and reliable resource for classrooms! Each themed issue catches the imagination of 7- to 12-year-old readers, bringing them the who, what, when, where, why and how of Canada's fascinating stories and connecting our history with today's world! A panel of historian advisors guides each issue and guest co-editors assist with special issues to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
For students participating in Heritage Fairs or doing historical inquiry projects, the following issues can help spark ideas, foster new questions, and get them thinking about topics in Canadian history that interest them.
