What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

The most interesting thing I learned is the background story of the sculpture and building that were built in Chinatown a century ago.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

I learned the difficulties of Chinese being the minority in a western country. I want to share with other Canadians when and how Vancouver Chinatown was established and its legacy.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

Chinatown in the old days was dominated by immigrated Chinese versus Chinatown nowadays is being more multi-cultural, a new and transformed district to the young generation.
