Sisters of Service
My project is about recognising the Sisters of St. Martha in our community.
What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?
The most interesting thing I learned about my topic is that lots of the things in our city are linked to them like the St. Michael's hospital which is now the St. Michael's Health Centre, other things are like the Martha House and many more Facilities.
What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?
One important lesson I've learned is that helping others and making a difference is a good legacy, also it is important to put others before yourself.
How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?
My life is as I would choose to do while their life is all devoted to service and care also to giving their lives to help others.
