Stem Cells: A Canadian Discovery

This project burrows under the surface of Canada's extensive history in the discovery and research of stem cells.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

The most interesting thing I learned about my topic was the different types of stem cells and how they have the potential to treat many terminal illnesses.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

As a Canadian, it is important to know that Canada has been the driving force behind stem cells and has furthered it to limits that were not thought to ever be reached.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

My life is very simple. I go to school and I come back. I work hard and I enjoy the benefits I reap. The scientists that I researched have changed the world with their discoveries and knowledge. Out of the many differences we have, I believe that we share a common passion for knowledge.
