What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?
The many accomplishments of Klondike Kate during the 19th century and how she paved the way for women equality and leadership within local communities and Canada.
What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?
The importance of recognizing the contribution of citizens within our community. Just take the time to get to know your neighbors and you may be surprised about what you learn!
How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?
Very different in how women are treated and respected in our communities of today. We have people like, Klondike Kate, to thank for this!
