Shooting of the Red Baron

Canadian Capitan Arthur Roy Brown was shot down the Red Baron in World War I, giving the Canadian Forces a victory against the German Army.

 

 

 

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

The Red Baron was an important German pilot who gave a lots of victories for his country, but at the same time shooting the Red Baron by the Canadian Capitan Roy Brown was a Victory for our country.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

The Red Baron was the top Germany pilot in World War I, with eighty combat victories he won the highest military medal called " The Blue Max". Canadian Capitan Arthur Roy Brown shot down and killed the Red Baron which was a victory for the Canadian Air Forces in World War I.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

Planes in that time were different than now, pilots put their lives at risk in war, today planes can be flight even without a pilot. Although Canada is still helping other countries in some battles, war now can be also solved with dialogues and trades.
