Life Stories & Legacies: Lenny Kreutzer

I interviewed Lenny Kreutzer, who is 93 years old.  He is a very interesting man, with lots of stories that he's willing to share.  Lenny served in World War 2, he was a farmer, he raised a family and continues to volunteer in his community.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

I learned that kindness and caring are key to living a great life.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

It's important to make an inter-generational connection with other Canadians. There experience and history is fascinating.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

My life is pretty high tech compared to Lenny's. He was raised differently than me. It wasn't better back then, just different.
