This webinar showcases a selection of lesbian, bisexual, trans and queer women’s stories from the ArQuives collection.
About this presenter
The ArQuives (formerly known as the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives, or CLGA) is the largest independent LGBTQ+ archives in the world. With a focus on Canadian content, ArQuives acquires, preserves and provides public access to information and archival materials in any medium. By collecting and caring for important historical records ArQuives is a trusted guardian of LGBTQ+ histories now and for generations to come. Presenting on behalf of ArQuives is their Volunteer and Community Outreach Coordinator Jade Pichette. She has a passion for LGBTQ+ Canadian history and especially the women who have shaped that history. This presentation will give snapshots into the lives of lesbian, bisexual, and trans women as highlighted from the ArQuives collections.
