Welcome 2020 Young Citizens

First of all, we would like to thank you for all your work over the past weeks to submit your forms, registrations and videos to us.

Congratulations on your terrific work with your Heritage Fair and Canadian history projects — we are so excited to receive your videos! We are impressed by your knowledge, passion and creativity and we can't wait to share your videos with people all across Canada. Well done!

We are excited to launch our new youth website, where we will be hosting all of the Young Citizens profiles. We invite you to check out the videos created by other participants and to use the comment form to say hello to your fellow Young Citizens!

The online vote will be available June 11 at 9:00 am Eastern Time. To vote, visit a profile page and click on the “vote” button. This button will not be visible until the vote opens. You will need a valid email address and will only be able to submit one vote per video. Voting will remain open until 11:59 pm (Eastern Time) on July 1, 2020. The results of the vote will make up part of your overall score. 

You can share your favourite videos via Facebook and Twitter by clicking on the social media links on your profile page. This is one of the easiest ways to obtain votes.

After the vote, the judges will review the videos and select the recipients. The recipients will be contacted by the end of September.
