Heritage Fair Funding Request

Heritage Fair committees may apply to Canada’s History for funding to support activities taking place in 2023/2024.

Funding can be used to support a variety of activities that facilitate and strengthen student and teacher participation, such as: in person or virtual workshops and presentations, professional development activities, the development of teacher or student resources, or promotional materials. Activities that support Heritage Fairs committees, such as strategic planning, volunteer recruitment, and capacity building, will also be considered.

Please complete the form below to submit your request for funding. Canada’s History will review all requests and allocate available funding accordingly. Requests will be reviewed and assessed based on demonstrated need for funding, impact of activities, and organizational capacity.

Requests for funding are due by February 16, 2024. Canada’s History will provide notice of funding decision by February 26, 2024.

Successful applicants will be required to submit a short report by June 15, 2024.
