Canada’s History Survey Draw

Terms and Conditions
- The “Canada’s History Survey Draw” is free to enter and open to all Canadian residents over 18 years of age, except those who are employees and immediate families of Canada’s National History Society, Kayak Magazine or Canada’s History Magazine. No purchase necessary. The winner will be required to answer a mathematical skill testing question. Noncompliance with any entry procedure will result in disqualification. Subject to all applicable laws. Void where prohibited.
- Limit of one entry per person during the draw period. Use of multiple email addresses for the same individual will forfeit entries. The prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. Some prize restrictions may apply.
- The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received by the draw deadline. The winner will be notified by email after the draw deadline of 11:59 pm CST, December 31, 2024. The selected winner must claim their prize within two weeks of being notified or a new winner will be drawn from all eligible entries.
- The winner will be selected on January 7, 2025 at 2:00 pm CST in the office of Canada’s National History Society, by a random draw of all eligible entries received, whose decisions are final. No responsibility is assumed for delayed, lost, stolen, or misdirected entries. Draw entries are void if incomplete, or if they contain errors.
- Canada’s National History Society, Meta, VISA or “X” (formally Twitter) bear no liability arising or pursuant to, or as a result of the carrying out of the draw, including liability and from the acceptance of and participation in the prize as awarded and confirming compliance with draw rules.
- Personal information including email will be stored separately from the survey responses and will be permanently erased once the draw is complete.
- Entrants must consent to the use of their names, city of residence, for publicity purposes in all media carried out by Canada’s History, without payment or compensation.
- Anyone over 18 years of age may enter the “Canada’s History Survey Draw” by sending their name, mailing address, telephone number and an email address to: “Canada’s History Survey Draw”, Main Floor, Bryce Hall, 515 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3B 2E9. Limited to one such entry per household address.
- The decision of Canada’s History is final on all matters of fact, interpretations, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment.
- Quebec residents, any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity draw may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
