Project: Algonquin

My project is about the Algonquin.  Our class studied different Aboriginal Peoples from across Canada.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

The most interesting thing I learned about my topic was learning about what they can do and what kind of tools they used.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

I have learned about Algonquin. I think the Algonquin are important because they are Aboriginal like us. I feel all Canadians should know about the Algonquin because Algonquin are part of Canada.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

I think my life is the same compared to the Algonquin because we hunt the same thing and they sound a little bit about what i do when we go hunting. I think I have some similarities with the Algonquin because as an Inuk, we share the same history as Aboriginal in Canada.
