The story of Canada’s international development efforts is filled with drama and heroism. With our February issues, we shine a light on the many ways Canada has tried to help the international community: from rebuilding postwar Europe to helping poverty-stricken Haitians; from providing technological aid to India to fighting famine in Africa. Along the way, you’ll meet Canadians who dedicated — and sometimes even sacrificed — their lives to help others around the world. This special issue is the least we can do to honour their memory.
