Canadian Advertising Museum

Members of Canada’s advertising and media community have stepped up to help preserve, and provide access to, Canada’s advertising history. The Canadian Advertising Museum is a virtual collection of Canada’s most iconic audio, print and video advertisements. The material is arranged by decade (from the 1940s to the 1990s), with an introduction to each section highlighting the trends that shaped and characterized the advertising industry.
The website is in its early stages and the collection will undoubtedly grow as the museum acquires more material. However, the website already provides a good start for learning about advertising in Canada.
