Michel Ducharme

Michel Ducharme is Assistant Professor in the history department at the University of British Columbia. His research interests include British North American Colonies (1749-1873); Canada and the Atlantic World; History of Québec; Liberalism and Nationalism in Canada and Québec (19th- 20th century).

Most recently, Michel Ducharme was the winner of the 2011 Sir John A. Macdonald Prize, awarded annually by the Canadian Historical Association for the best academic book in Canadian history.
