Jessica Knapp joined Canada’s History Society in 2014. She was introduced to historical publishing for both academic and general audiences while earning her honours degree in History and English Language and Literature at the University of Windsor. While completing her Master’s in Public History at the University of Western Ontario, she sought out a position with the Society.
Jessica stays active in the public history community by developing and fostering relationships with a variety of public historians in Canada, including museum curators, archivists, community groups, teachers, and students. Her goal within the Society is to encourage Canadians to learn, share, and engage with Canadian history.
